Singapore weather has been really crazy lately. It’s a beautiful weather when you wake up and the moment you starts for work, rain will pour as if no tomorrow. And the moment you arrive at your workplace, mr sun decided to show up again. You won’t know what will be the weather next unless you check the weather app.

Since 2018 started its rare to get a good weather during the weekends, and when we get it, we have to grab the opportunity and go out. So yesterday the weather was very beautiful when we woke so we decided to go out early. We run our errands as early as 8 am. And in the afternoon we decided to go out again and bike, we have to take the opportunity while mr weather is cooperating. We bike all the way to Punggol Water way, ahhh the weather was really good yesterday, and I ended the trip with a plate of Phad Thai. 🙂

Today Sunday, hurray for the beautiful weather again! I jump out of bed early and went for an early swim, again we won’t waste our time, its such a beautiful day to go out.

And as I am typing this, the weather change again. ;( Goodbye mr sun and hello rain! Singapore’s weather is like a lady’s mind, keeps on changing. 🙂

And though the weather is a bit complicated, nevertheless Ive enjoyed my weekend. So now, lets go to our sunday currently.

Thailand. Yours truly is flying to Thailand next week. Im so excited as its my first time to visit this country.

Fish. Im cooking “pinaksiw” fish cooked in vinegar. 😉

Wishing
For a good weather when we travel to Thailand.

Shorts. T-shirt. The usual suspect when Im at home.

Loving
That I’m starting to travel as early as Feb.

Needing
To finish my packing. I’ll be away for only a week yet, I’m so confused on what to pack. Its not my first time to travel but the feeling is its like my first time. Confused.

Wanting
To watch Hwayogi (A Korean Odyssey). My friends has been recommending this drama, so I guess I might jump the bandwagon, too.

Feeling
Hungry.

The Sunday Currently V34

For the last month I was literally swimming with work. Everything was on a rush. From setting up to configuration to uploading/ downloading contents to training to verification to production and finally TO LIVE DAY!!! I don’t usually get stressed with work, but since we got this project, oh gosh, I’m stressed almost everyday! But when you finally see the outcome, everything is so worth it.

Other than seeing the outcome of the project, one of the things I’m looking forward to is the holidays!

Now its what? 17th December, that means 8 days more to go and its Christmas!!! Wohoo! I’m so excited for this holiday season, as I am travelling back home. After 7 years of not spending it with family, finally I’m coming back home.

I have so many things running in my mind right now, unfortunately I’m having so much time writing them down. I guess my brain is already on holiday mode, can’t help though. I really needed this vacation but its the husband who needed this more than I do. The guy has been doing overtime for the last 4 months, 4 months!!! Same situation with me, they are rushing their project as well.

So much of talking shizzz ’bout work, lets talk this sunday currently which I have been neglecting for the last month. This will be my last entry for this year, ~~I think~~.

This year I’m really bad with my reading time. To be honest I haven’t finish the last book I mentioned, and its by John Grisham, this is the first time that I didn’t able to finish his book in a week.

Writing
The usual suspect, my sunday currently. My packing list as well.

Thinking
Of flying home, right now!

Smelling
Freshly baked cookies, from the neighbour’s.

Wishing
I’ll finish packing soonish. I have so many things to do before my grand vacation starts.

That today the weather is so good.

Needing
To finish all the errands, again I’m going for a vacation so I have to make sure everything is fine before flying off.

Wanting
To go back to bed. To finish packing. To iron office clothes. To read. To eat again.

Today’s entry is very special, why? Coz, its our Mothers’ birthday. Happy Birthday Mama Elsa!!!

Happy-Birthday-Mother What’s my birthday wish for her? Ahhh… this one is easy. I wish nothing but happiness and good health for her.

Describe her in one word. Are you kidding me? How on earth I can describe her in just one word?

Ok, ok, ok, relax. Fine, describe her in errrrr, maybe in 5 words? Nahhh ah… your face says it all, fine go ahead, describe her the way you wanted.
Good. At least we agreed on something. Hmmmm…. How should I put it? Mama Elsa is very kind. She has the most genuine heart, no I’m not saying this because I’m her favourite daughter, but its the truth. She may have her own flaws but it doesn’t stop her to be a good mother to us and even a better grandmother to her grand kids. And oh, she is a very good listener. You can tell her anything and everything under the sun, she won’t judge you. She will listen intently, as if you were telling her a very important thing, when in reality you were just rumbling some silly things. 🙂 And, she is the sweetest, too! And… and… and… she is such a cry baby too, like me! Ahahahaha… I hope she won’t cry when she reads this. 🙂

Do you miss her? Of course, I do! It’s a no brainer question. I miss her so much. I miss everything about her. I miss her cooking. I miss our cuddle nights. Though my siblings and I are already GROWN UPs, we still love to cuddle her. Can’t wait to see her again.

Does your mother has pet names for you and your siblings? Oh yeah! Dodong/ Dong (its a Cebuano term for young boy), for both my brothers and Inday/ Dai (its a Cebuano term for young girl) for me, or sometimes if she is too happy having us around, she calls us “Anak” (child). But, the moment she calls us by our full name, hahahaha… good luck! That means she is already angry and its time for us to call our guardian angel for some help. 🙂 Even if she is the sweetest, she’s scary when she’s angry. 😉 The moment she calls me, Chloe! Good luck with that. 🙂

Anything you want to say or tell her? I have a lot! But I’ll save them. Its better to tell her in person, coz I wanna see her reaction on my silly stories. See you soon, Mother! And again, happy happy birthday Mama Elsa! I love you and miss you so much… Check my love letter to Papa also. 🙂

So now, I’ll continue with whats new and not for my sunday currently. 🙂

Something not new, I haven’t open a new book. I went to the bookstore last week, and nothing caught my attention, maybe next week, I’ll have an update for this section.

The Sunday Currently V31

For the last seven years, we call Singapore our second home, and a lot has changed since the day we set our foot to this beautiful country.

Though we’ve been here for sometime now, Singapore’s beauty still takes my breath away. Every time I walk around Marina Bay, the feeling is always like its my first time in the area.

And the photo above was taken two weeks back.

Since its Sunday, lets continue with the usual, lets see if I have something new.

I’ve been really bad with my reading habits for the last few months. Sad to say the book I mentioned from my last post is still waiting to be finish. I should re-organise my time again so I could squeeze even 1-2 hours for my reading time.

The Sunday Currently V30

Hello September!!!

Should I start sining “Wake Me Up When September Ends”? or should I start singing Christmas Carols? Can’t blame me though, Im a Filipino, and back home when September comes, we started singing Christmas carols, yes we are that excited. 😉

It was a holiday when 1st September came, and the weather was so nice that you wanted to do your laundry and hang it outside. Im not kidding! The weather on that day was really nice, that in the afternoon we decided to go out and hang out with mr sun. And if you’re still not convince how lovely that day was, I have photos to prove it. tehehehe… check it below.

Something new!!! Hahahaha… finally after a couple of months, I’m back to reading, and hopefully I’ll be able to finish this in a week. Im reading “The Substitute” by Denise Grover Swank. This is my first book of her, and I’m loving it so far.

Nothing in particular. But I can hear random show from youtube.

Thinking
On what to wear later. I’ll be visiting a friends place later this lunch, so yeah I’m thinking of what to wear.

Food. Housemates is cooking, and judging from the smell, I know its yummy.
